Just because wincustomize supplies icons for object dock, and wincustomize doesn't have an icon for space invaders, doesn't give anyone the right to copy paste and put the space invaders logo up as an icon. I'd rather take every single request on myself than see halfwit people copy paste and try to take credit for it.

Well some of us put in the desciption that we didn't make the icon and take no credit for it...

you are a prime example of a fading exception kona, it is good that you make note that you are not the author of the work, (though permission text should technically be included to do it), but you've said you are going to finally do your own work now...correct?

yes i am working on ALOT of projects from scratch.

But lately I have been having fun with SKS and converting msstyles. I just uploaded a WB skin called "Red Dragon" with the original autors permission (included in zip) of course.

hey, one suggestion, what about starting 2 ratings - one from the mods who rate it b4 adding to the library, & the other from the users who visited your works? i mean, one is staff rating & other is public rating. how's the idea?

of all the screen shots i have posted and the one port i have done so far, i too have always given the graphics author the proper recognition.

Tis the reason it's called a permission, permission is like having a green card. Porting things is different than ripping. The author of original work can do whatever he/she wants to with it, if that happens to be leaving it in the capable hands of someone to port it so others can enjoy it to, then it's all good if it's in the graces of the original author. And a screen shot is only displaying what you are doing with work, not taking rights of it, so that is also more than acceptable.

Sheesh, who needs ratings, and does it really matter ???

Stumpy...ratings are 'needed' to assist in filtering works when there becomes so many in each section....more-so now than even before.

Perhaps in a less 'open' environment ratings could have been applied and just no-one be informed they were in place.....what you didn't know couldn't hurt you....but alas....

Horizon..I am an artist Rips are rips and should be reported, and taken away from the library. Unless you got permission included...My point was sometimes people get a low rating and your average drops after only 2 rates, read my earlier post on this. I took your 1, as an example. To you maybe a rip gets a 1, better report I'd say..And to give higher rates to a rip that is well done..ahum. It was just beside the point I was trying to put forward.

I have to say that a 2 is a little bit low rated, I think I would give it a 4-5.
I doubt if it is created from scratch, if not it shouldn't be up here.

If you would just improve one little thing I would rate it a 6 or something but take a second and look at the round cornors... they arent round, they are squared !! anti-aliasing is the trick my friend
